Meet Popular Girl Sophie Reynolds! You probably know her from “Youth and Consequences” and “Gamers Guide to Pretty Much Everything”, She has a new show premiering on May 13th, “LA’s Finest”, with Jessica Alba! We are so excited to see the show, on Spectrum and On Demand, don’t miss it!
We had so much fun with her at our photoshoot in Hollywood Hills, and we had a chance to sit down and chat with Sophie and asked her some of our exclusive questions!
Tell us about your show LA’s Finest?
LA’s Finest is a spin-off series of the Bad Boys franchise that follows two cops in the LAPD played by Gabriel Union and Jessica Alba. The show has all the drama and high stakes of your classic cop drama but it also has the comedy that gives it a really unique feel. I play Isabel McKenna, the stepdaughter of Jessica’s character, Nancy. It premieres May 13th on Spectrum On Demand and I’m so excited for everyone to see it!
How your character, how are you and your character similar? And how
are you different?
Isabel, or Izzy as we call her, is a fighter, and I am too, so I really connect to that side of her. Izzy is a lot more of a rebel than me though. I think I’ve actually learned a lot from how unapologetic she is. She’s never afraid to stand up for herself and I really love that about her. Izzy’s going through a lot in this first season, dealing with the death of her mother, so we get to see a lot of that really bold side of her, but we also get to see her be emotional and vulnerable too.
We love Jessica Alba, what is it like working with her? and playing her
I love Jessica too! She’s been absolutely incredible to work with. She has taught me so much as an actor and a person, so I’m very thankful for that. Creating the relationship between Nancy and Isabel has been a really special experience and most of my favorite scenes to shoot were just the two of us. Jessica and Gabrielle both made our set a very safe space for creativity, so it’s been a dream for me as an actor.

LA’s Finest is it for me right now. May 13th!
