Los Angeles R&B singer ELOHIM has managed to hide her identity so far, but that hasn’t overshadowed her talent. The singer has yet to show her face and doesn’t even let people hear her real voice during interviews (she uses a voice coder). In anticipation of ELOHIM’s debut self-titled EP coming out on May 20, we had her put together a playlist of songs that inspire her.
Listen below, and feel the magic happen.
1. “Walkabout” (ft. Noah Lennox) – Atlas Sound
I heard this playing somewhere a minute ago and shamelessly shazamed it. Very feel good song.
2. “All My Friends” – LCD Soundsystem
This is an inspiring band for me. This is one of my favorite songs by them. I highly recommend their movie “shut up and play the hits.”
3. “Golden Gal” – Animal Collective
The production on this track is insane.
4. “Lotus Flower” – Radiohead
I want to forever dance in my living room to this song.
5. “Pass Dat” – Jeremih
I usually put this in my headphones right before I go on stage. It’s oddly calming while being pretty hype.
6. “Vertical” – Animal Collective
There are so many good songs on this album, I couldn’t pick just one. This is off Animal Collectives latest record.
