THIS IS OUR JAM: CARLY RAE JEPSEN, BIBI BOURELLY & TINASHE

Music

Feb 26, 2016

New music has rocked the pop world this week. We were #blessed with an early drop of Charli XCX’s new EP today, along with the release of Santigold and Macklemore’s records. In This Is Our Jam this week, we have a collaboration from The Knocks and Carly Rae Jepsen, a soulful gem from Bibi Bourelly and a dance-pop track from Icona Pop. We wrap things up with an electronic song from newcomer Bishat and a slow burner from Tinashe.

The Knocks ft. Carly Rae Jepsen
“Love Me Like That”
The Knocks are on fire lately, and their latest 80s synth-heavy jam shows off Carly’s silky, sultry vocals. This one is perfect for dancing at your desk.

Bibi Bourelly
“Sally”
The songwriter behind Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” shows off her love for the blues on her latest track, “Sally.” Fueled by raspy vocals and soulful rock, Bourelly is unforgettable on “Sally.”

Icona Pop
“Someone Who Can Dance”
Our favorite Brit pop babes are back with a bubblegum pop gem. Don’t be surprised if you hear this one everywhere while you’re out tonight.

Bishat
“Sober”
Sweden has brought us new electropop talent in Bishat. “Sober” is dark, cinematic and beautiful, and Bishat reminds us of The Knife.

Tinashe
“Ride Of Your Life”
Tinashe is expected to be 2016’s pop queen, and she isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Her latest single “Ride Of Your Life” is a sensual R&B track that you won’t be able to get out of your head.
