This month the music drops have been insane: from Beyoncé to Drake, April may have just become the best month in music of 2016. Now, we’re getting even more must-listen to releases from the music gods. We’re so stoked to see Kesha back with Zedd, which makes this edition of TIOJ even more special. Following their latest track “True Colors,” we have the return of duo Calvin Harris and Rihanna, George Maple and GoldLink, AlunaGeorge and ZHU and Bishop Briggs.
Update your playlists with these jams below.
Zedd ft. Kesha
Kesha has made her long-awaited return to music with the help of Zedd. But her vocals soar on her own on “True Colors.” We can only hope there’s a ton of more music coming down the pipeline.
Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna
“This Is What You Came For”
Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s latest collaboration is what we’ve been waiting for since “We Found Love.” It’s a pop-EDM banger that you won’t be able to get out of your head.
George Maple ft. GoldLink
“Sink Like A Stone”
Soulful songstress George Maple has returned with an R&B-infused rap track that’s silky and smooth. We bet there will be a ton of sick remixes for this one too.
AlunaGeorge ft. ZHU
AlunaGeorge is never a band to shy away from the sultry, so it’s no surprise that their latest song is extra sensual. Once again, AlunaGeorge has teamed up with ZHU, and what they make together is fire.
The syrupy vocals of Bishop Briggs are just plain hypnotizing. We don’t know too much about her, but we do know that she reminds us of Adele and Bibi Bourelly mixed into one.
