THIS IS OUR JAM: PANAMA WEDDING, JUSTIN BIEBER & HAILEE STEINFELD

Music

Nov 18, 2015

November has been a busy month for music, and this past week was no different. This week, we have a premiere from indie-poppers Panama Wedding, a hazy collaboration from Justin Bieber and Halsey along with a catchy pop gem from Hailee Steinfeld. Following those tracks we have a sweetly sad new one from Emma Louise and an R&B-infused ballad from Brooklyn’s Wet. Listen below and get these jams on repeat.

Panama Wedding
“Infinite High” (Scavenger Hunt Remix)
New York indie-pop outfit Panama Wedding just released its second EP – a much more polished and moving compilation than its debut Parallel Play. Premiering below is a much dreamier version of Panama Wedding’s “Infinite High,” which could sub for a massage because of its hypnotic effect. Scavenger Hunt is going on tour with Panama Wedding (and Great Good Fine Ok) kicking off Nov 30th.

Justin Bieber
“The Feeling” ft. Halsey
Justin Bieber’s much-anticipated record Purpose came out last Friday and we’re still processing it. While some of the tracks come off a bit campy, for the most part, it’s a mature, R&B record that shows off Justin’s talent. This track with our girl Halsey is one of the best of the bunch.

Emma Louise
“Underflow”
Aussie folk-pop singer Emma Louise just announced she’ll be releasing her sophomore record, and we can’t wait to hear it. “Underflow” is the first single is a sexy, somber song about missing someone across the ocean. This gorgeous gem will be on loop all day.

Hailee Steinfeld
“You’re Just A”
Actor and (now) pop star Hailee Steinfeld’s debut EP HAIZ has us taking her more seriously than ever, and Hailee has the vocal chops. With a playground you and an F you to an ex, we love Hailee’s self-empowerment track.

Wet
“It’s All In Vain”
It’s just a fact: every song from dark pop group Wet breaks our heart. “It’s All In Vain” is no different as vocalist Kelly Zutrau begs someone to love her again as her pain ebbs and flows. You feel her pain too.
