THIS IS OUR JAM: SKIZZY MARS, BROODS & SAYA

Music

Apr 1, 2016

Welcome back to our weekly roundup. This week we have a ton of dancey jams to get your weekend started. First up, we have a collaboration between BRKLYN and Mariah McManus, a spacey hip-hop track with Skizzy Mars and JoJo, a pop gem from Broods, a groovy R&B track from Saya and an upbeat track from MAIZE.

Get your playlists pumped.

BRKLYN
“Can’t Get Enough” ft. Mariah McManus
Sometimes the combination of an EDM artist and a folk-pop musician is just magic. The highlight of the song is the buildup of Mariah’s vocals that are oh so gorgeous.

Skizzy Mars
“Recognize” ft. JoJo
The combination of Skizzy Mars and JoJo is lethal. JoJo’s powerful vocals make this a dreamy rap track that we can’t stop listening to on repeat. Hopefully these two will work together again in the future.

Broods
“Free”
UK duo Broods are back with an anthemic synth-pop single that makes us want to dance. It’s extremely liberating and we bet it’s going to be everywhere this summer.

Saya
“Wet Dreams”
Saya reminds us of a mix between Kali Uchis and Lola Coca, which means we’re pretty much in love. On track “Wet Dreams,” she shows her talent for minimalistic R&B over electronic ripples.

MAIZE
“Remember To Lose”
MAIZE’s “Remember To Lose” sounds like it’s straight out of the early 90s, mixing hip-hop and electronic elements so smoothly, you can’t get them out of your head. This one is perfect for your workouts.
